Turn Back the Clock With a Facelift

Let’s have a chat…face to face. There’s simply no getting around it. As we age, we lose things that are important to us. It could be the ability to dominate on the basketball court or stay out dancing as late. One thing we can’t deny is that aging often shows up in the most obvious place — our face! Don’t worry though, we can give you back that youthful look you desire. Due to a variety of factors, including heredity, gravity, environmental conditions, and stress, candidates for a facelift may experience one of more of these common signs that Father Time brings:

  • The middle of your face sags
  • Deep creases have formed below your lower eyelids
  • Deep creases along the nose have extended to the corner of your mouth
  • There is fat that has fallen
  • Skin tone has been lost?creating jowls
  • A double chin arrives via loose skin and excess fatty deposits

A face lift surgically corrects the effects of aging on the face including excess skin, drooping of the midface, jowls and displaced fat. A neck lift is often a part of this procedure as well. The overall goal is to return the face to a natural look where the patient looks rejuvenated and rested. There are two types of facelifts, mini and standard, and both are a simple process. After making the initial incisions, the skin?is separated from the?underlying connective tissue and muscles. We will then re-position the deeper facial tissues, get rid of the jowls and create a firmer foundation for the skin. Excess skin is then taken out, and the remaining skin is gently laid back over the newly rejuvenated facial tissues.?Rejuvenation procedures typically performed in conjunction with a facelift are brow lift, to correct a sagging or deeply furrowed brow, and eyelid surgery to rejuvenate aging eyes. Our goal is to turn back the clock, giving your face a smoother, more youthful contour without over-tightening the skin!
